We have successfully converted over two million lines of code in the past six months. Our largest customer took approximately 150 hours, the average is around 30 and some have been done in 12 hrs.

How do we do it? First, we're talking about revising the source code and recompiling your programs. Instead of changing file lay-outs etc. we simply put in a sub-routine WHERE NEEDED to change all years less than 40 and force the computer to recognize them as 2000-2039. Everything else is 1940-1999. We have the search routines in place that find the programs which need changing then we go 'till we hear glass break. We don't worry about all the ramifications of your program, just those affected by the dates.

How have we done so far? Minimal problems, minimal fixes. These fixes have been so minimal that we have yet to charge for any of them. Remember that's two million lines of code currently up and running.
